Sketched out this one in bed last night, it's my favorite mobile suit from Gundam Wing, the Tallgeese. I didn't realize that i forgot the shield and the cannon until just now but i'm a bit on the lazy side so i'll fix it later :D hope you like it!

How did you do the skeletal layout, XD I can draw gundam but at this level,ima need some pointers

well I usually start from the head and do a really light outline, then I go back over it again and again adding in a little more detail each time. Then after that I finish by making the most prominent edges as dark as i can and shade it all depending on which side I want the light to come in from. And when I shade I start from the left to keep from smudging the picture so much. I hope this helps, I'm self taught so I really suck at giving advice XD

ah wow, we use very sim. techniques, im self taught as well, i useal start with the head, but end up working on the base,then tend to something eles do you use pic ref or a figure to draw tallgese,i always freehand and dont have reference to use =/

I almost always use a reference, usually a model kit/figure of whatever i'm drawing and then I just add my own style to it
